Hello, I am Jack Moonsight. I am a druid of the Tal'ina: a druidic sect found in select few areas. We tend to be very sparse yet active, expect more of us, methinks.
I was once a sniper in the USMC, despite my brethren objecting to it with a furor of a thousand suns.
I was recruited by my long-time friend and we served about two tours together.
Sadly, during a mission I was blinded by shrapnel in my eyes. Kebin blames himself for it, but war is war, and things happen. Although I am blind and can no longer shoot, I am quite capable of defending myself, thank you. My senses have been enhanced through my communion with the spirits of nature, giving me the powerful senses of a mighty animal, and my swordsmanship is equal with the senses.
*taps on the staff he holds*
Beware my sword.
Also, I'm a bit self-conscious of my face, considering the wounds and scars around my eyes. To conceal it, I wear a green blindfold fashioned from cloth ripped from the edge of my robe's sleeve, and I do say, the design on the new covering, having been stitched into its verdant fabric by my brother, is one I knew quite well when I last saw daylight. It is a symbol of my people.
If you do not see it on my face, let me know, I may have had what Kebin refers to a "brainfart" and forgot to wear it. Please be kind enough to say something...
I've heard of your kind at the Old Academy. It's an honour to meet one who keeps the art alive!
But where are my manners? I am Tycho Erasmus Brahe, graduate of New Arcadia's Old Academy under Apocalyptics, and founder of "Startling Developments Detective Agency"
Yes, Tal'ina is very rare. Fortunately, it seems to be growing as more of my kind marry and such. Good times, those weddings....
*drifts in thought about this one girl he met...*
Oh! Pardon...
*blushes*
I must ask, I suppose Kebin wants something of you to hinder my staff-related bludgeoning I deliver to him occasionally? Don't be shocked, I smell him on you, as well as sense his purpose.
That is delightful to hear! I was under the impression Tal'ina was dead and buried when I heard of it in my studies
... someone in particular comes to mind, I take it? I apologize.
I won't lie. He wanted me to retrieve your staff. Personally, I'd like to study it, instead of giving it to that cretin. I can smell the spiritual influence on it. But I take it you have a different opinion, and I do prefer to keep my head, thank you
I need it for defense, more than anything really. It also helps me find my way around: the damn mutt doesn't want me to hit him with it when he behaves badly again.
*jerks a thumb towards the Red Spy convo on this page*
Um..................I've met several different druids before of different sects. Maybe I have, but as Kebin can vouch for, I am horrible with details like that.
